My name is Tamlyn Dolphin. I have a BPharm Honours Degree from Nelson Mandela University and have worked in medicine manufacture as well as in hospitals and dispensaries. Whilst completing my community service year at the military, I realised that I wanted to have a more hands on way of helping people overcome pain and injuries as opposed to simply giving patients chemicals to alleviate their pain and not fixing the actual problem.
I decided to do the Lyno course as my true passion lies in sport and helping people have the ability to be active and do what they love on a daily basis. Being an avid trail runner myself and spending quite some time at the chiropractor or physio with recurring injuries, and never truly healing as only the symptom was addressed and not the source, I was curious to learn more about Lyno therapy and its remarkable benefits. After reading more about Lyno, seeing incredible results in my own body, and realising how important it is to release old patterns of stuck fascia, I wanted to share the joy it brought me with others and completed the course.
The most important thing for me is to identify the root cause in my patients so that I can assist them with changes they can make to live life to the fullest with the best version of their body. I hope to educate my patients about behaviours that add to the problems they are experiencing so they are more aware of their bodies and how their lifestyle impacts their movement. Ultimately, I hope to give people the gift of movement in every stage of their lives.
