More About The Course

The student version of the LYNO application is used during the course and afterwards to record the case study information and data.

The digital manual acts as revision of the practical course and consists of text, pictures, videos and quizzes. Students are expected to work through the digital manual and complete all the quizzes before the start of the next module.

Attached to the digital course manual is the Case Study Indemnity form which should be signed by all case study volunteers.

IMPORTANT

Attendees must attend the course in the exact order. You may however attend a Module at a different venue, as long as your modules are done in the correct sequence.

Practical Work

Attendees are expected to complete 12 practical case study sessions after Modules 1 and 2 and 36 case study sessions after Module 3. The case study sessions are all recorded on the student application, and students need to upload their completed case study lists onto the digital manual to get access to the next course module.

PLEASE NOTE

The case study work is compulsory and students who have not completed the required amount of case study sessions, will not be admitted to the next course module.

Access to the certification exam will be granted once a student has completed the final 36 practical sessions as well as Module 4. The Module 4 course is a consolidation course and consists of a series of practical case studies where students interact to practice problem-solving.

The cost of the full course is R13,400.

Payments are due in 4 installments, with the first payment (deposit) of R3,400 due on registration, the 2nd and 3rd payment of R3,400 will be due 1 month before Modules 2 and 3 and the final payment of R3,200 due 1 month before the 4th Module.

The Lyno Method is a real game-changer. Unlike most other fascia courses, it takes a holistic approach, addressing the root causes of chronic symptoms and gently releasing fascia through the parasympathetic nervous system. What sets it apart even more is that it's painless and non-invasive, focusing not only on the release of physical trauma but also on unresolved emotional trauma. The lyno course is information dense and alot too take in. It challenged me to look at movement and the body in a very different way. Andria made it simple and practical and kept us on track with simple but very relevant examples and ways to remember the lines and releases. Her passion for Lyno and holistic wellness though movement and fascia is contagious and catching. It shows in the way she teaches - its a passion not just a job. I am very glad that I got to do my course with her. She guided as so well and was always open and willing to answer all my questions and doubts not only on the day but between modules as I practiced. I would recommend her any day!

A teacher's job is to take a bunch of live wires and see that they are well-grounded. This would be the best way to explain my Lyno journey with my teacher , coach and friend- Andria. Starting with Lyno was daunting to say the least but Andria managed to make each class bite sized enough to ensure I grasped every aspect of the method. Even though we attended each class with a serious attitude to learn and grow we also managed to form deep friendships with lots of time to laugh and figure out each concept. I will be forever grateful.

The Lyno Method

Providing The Solution for Chronic Injuries

Benita Kropman developed the LYNO Method in the 90’s while working as a physiotherapist with elite athletes and triathletes.

Her frustration in dealing with chronic recurring injuries encouraged her to investigate the role of fascia mobility as the cause of the problem.

This lead to her creating an holistic methodology which assesses the full body and guides her to the cause of chronic injuries.

In this program, you will be guided systematically on the way to assessing, understanding and analyzing the body, to find the patterns that you clients are using to avoid areas where old unresolved trauma is trapped in their bodies.

Learn How To

Perform a comprehensive holistic assessment of fascia mobility

Use the Bunkie Test to evaluate full-body functionality

Conduct a thorough analysis of the body and apply algorithms to identify injury patterns

Utilise the LYNO app with built-in digital goniometer for all measurements and analysis

Apply a pain-free non-invasive technique of fascia release , based on the Polyvagal Concept, targeting the underlying cause of the injury

Create ‘Yellow Page Wedges’ to reactivate function through proprioception
Provide education on lifestyle and training management to prevent future injury patterns

Unresolved Trauma

Unresolved trauma can point back to previous injuries, overload, surgery or emotional experiences which was perceived by the body as OVERWHELMING.

In stead of resolving these events, these memories become trapped in the fascia, causing areas of chronic fascia restrictions.

We gradually learn how to ignore and move around these restrictions, causing misalignment of our bodies , dysfunctional movement patterns and overloading of other non-related structures.

The result is chronic symptoms in areas of the body that are remote to the original trauma and that do not respond to symptomatic treatment.

The answer lies in finding the areas of unresolved trauma and guiding the body back to full function.
